I love... (Day 4)

In honor of Valentines day, I'm going to write a post a day about all of the things that I love. Check out Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3!

I love classic rock (and folk) music.

It doesn't matter whether it's the Simon and Garfunkel, The Stones, Dylan, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Who, Bob Seger, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young, (and equally without the Young and the solo Young. If this doesn't make sense to you, I'm sorry for your ears because they are missing out), or the manyyyyy more, I love them all.

(Apologies for that ridiculously long run-on sentence)

When I was young, before MP3 files and iPods - gosh, that makes me feel old - I used to ask my Dad for CDs (I'm going to refrain from telling you what CDs I wanted out of sheer embarrassment). Anyway, I'd always get two CDs from him: 1 Backstreet Boys Black and Blue Album Yo-Yo Ma's Greatest Hits and 1 of my Dad's favorite CDs (Dark Side of the Moon, Abbey Road, etc.).

Not only that, every time my mom and I would go on a road trip, we'd always listen to Simon and Garfunkel and Bob Seger. Every. Single. Time. And they never got old. They still don't get old.

I wonder what that says about my personality? Probably that I'm actually a hippie and that I should cease to wear shoes at this moment and become a vegan...

What music do YOU love?
